We collect information you provide when you create an account, primarily an email address and hashed authentication data. We may also store basic profile information and metadata for rooms you create (for example, room name and public settings) and the audience who register and/or login to these rooms.
We use your email for account creation, authentication, and to send account-related messages (e.g., password resets). We use room metadata to provide the service and enable sharing and discovery where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with third-party service providers who help operate the service (for example, the database backend or email delivery) and when required by law. When using the hosted instance at timemomo.techformist.com, your data is stored on our infrastructure; if you self-host, data remains under your control.
We do not guarantee availability, uptime, or long-term data persistence for the public/demo instance. Rooms and accounts on the hosted demo may be cleaned up automatically (see theSelf-hosting page for details). For maximum control and persistence, we recommend you run your own instance.
We take reasonable measures to protect data on the hosted instance, but no system is completely secure. If you self-host, follow best practices for securing your PocketBase/hosting environment.
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the service.
If you’d like to request deletion of account data on our hosted instance or have questions about privacy, please open an issue on the project’s GitHub repository at https://github.com/techformist/timemomo. If you self-host, delete or export data through your own PocketBase instance.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll post the latest version here with the updated date. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
Note: We encourage self-hosting to ensure maximum control over your data, persistence, and availability. We do not sell or share emails for marketing purposes.
